In addition to these joint benefits, NLASLPA is also committed to providing continuing education opportunities. We provide professional development opportunities through our annual conference, local webinars, sponsorship of educational events (up to $2000), individual education draws (3 x $750 per year) and distribution of information for education opportunities provincially and nationally.

Licensure
“The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NLASLPA) is a professional association that supports Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, including continuing education and representation in national associations. NLASLPA does not provide licensure paperwork, renewals, or approvals for SLPs and Auds in the province. Licensure in NL is provided through the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health professionals (NLCHP).”
