About Us - Meet the Executive - President

The President is chief executive officer of the Association.  It is her duty to preside at all meetings of the Association and of the Executive Council and to supervise the affairs of the Association.

What is your profession and area of practice?
Speech-Language Pathologist working in acute care, long term care, and adult and pediatric outpatients in Central Newfoundland.

What made you get into the profession?
To me, communication means allowing people to connect on a personal level. I love that I have a job that lets me help people connect (or re-connect) with their loved ones. It's an honour and extremely rewarding.

What is your favorite hobby?
I really enjoy making music. I play the flute, guitar, mandolin, and I sing.

What is the best part about being involved in NLASLPA?
Being involved in NLASLPA allows me to advocate for this profession that I love, and our very important clients.
